5 Easy Pinterest Wins TPT Sellers Can Implement This Week
I get it: you’re a busy TPT seller, solo-preneur, and probably either a classroom teacher or a mom just trying to stay afloat (or maybe both!).. I know that Pinterest can feel confusing, time-consuming, or like just “one more thing” on your plate.

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing with Pinterest. Pinterest rewards consistency more than perfection, so taking small steps counts and can help you grow your traffic (and ultimately, make more sales!), even if you don’t have hours to devote to Pinterest.
Here are five easy Pinterest wins you can implement this week, even if your schedule is packed!
(And if you want a simple roadmap to get started – Grab my free Pinterest Strategy Starter Guide for TPT Sellers! It walks you through the exact steps to set up your account the right way and pin with confidence.)

1. Refresh Just ONE Existing Pin
Pinterest loves “fresh content,” but that doesn’t always mean BRAND-new content. A small update can help the algorithm take another look.
Pop over into Canva and pull up a pin you created previously. Change the headline, swap in a new photo, adjust the colors or layout, or update the CTA (call to action).
Something as small as changing the CTA on a pin signals Pinterest to categorize that new pin as a “fresh pin.” I’ve tested this by looking at the source code – I won’t go into the nitty gritty details here, but I promise, it works!
2. Create ONE New Fresh Pin for a Product You Already Have

When thinking about what to pin, you don’t need a new product — just a new design. Most TPT sellers under-pin their products.
A few ideas for fresh pins: try zooming in on the best page of your resource, or highlighting the transformation teachers can expect to see. Play with bold text overlays for clarity, and try including a CTA like “Click to see inside!” or “Teach this skill in minutes!”
3. Use Pinterest Predicts 2026 to Guide Your Ideas
Pinterest just put out their annual Pinterest Predicts report, and it isn’t just a trend report — it’s Pinterest literally telling us what users will be searching for in the year ahead. If you line up your visuals or product themes with these trends, your content feels timely and relevant. (NOTE: Not every trend will be relevant to your business and that’s totally okay! This is just a place to gather ideas and see what might work for you.)

Two trends that are likely to work well for TPT sellers:
Trend #1: “Throwback Kid”
Nostalgia is about to boom.
This aligns really well with:
- retro classroom décor
- old-school cut-and-paste crafts
- bingo, flashcards, paper games
- vintage color palettes
- “classic” style worksheets
Even just using a retro aesthetic on your pins can help you catch this trend.
Trend #2: “Pen Pals”
Handwritten notes and snail-mail vibes are on the rise.
Great for:
- writing center activities
- letter-template printables
- kindness notes / classroom mailboxes
- Valentine exchange printables
- stationery-style worksheet designs
Visuals like envelopes, stamps, lined paper, or soft pastels will perform well.
4. Pin Consistently for Just 3 Days
Pinterest REALLY likes consistency. I’m not saying that three days of consistent pinning is going to blow up your traffic, but it’s a great place to start!
Ideas to pin:
- Fresh pins
- Existing pins you haven’t pinned in a while
- Pins from boards you want to strengthen
Remember: consistency > volume.
Your goal is simply to show signs of life on your account.
5. Clean Up ONE Board
Pinterest is a search engine, and clean boards help the algorithm understand your content. Wondering what I mean by “clean” boards? You want keyword-rich titles, keyword-rich board descriptions, and pins that make sense on that particular board.
Do this for ONE board:
- Update the board title (e.g., “Valentine Crafts for Kids” instead of “Cute Stuff”)
- Add a keyword-rich board description
- Remove or archive pins that don’t fit the topic
- Move your best pins toward the top
This takes 5 minutes and immediately improves your account structure, which helps Pinterest understand who to show your pins to.
Small Steps > Overwhelm
You don’t necessarily need a huge strategy overhaul. Just one or two small actions each week can make a big difference!
Which of these five steps are you going to try first? Tag me on Instagram or let me know in the comments!
And if this still sounds overwhelming and like more than you want to handle on your own, I can help. Whether it’s through full Pinterest management or a focused strategy call to get you started, I would LOVE to come alongside you and help you grow your traffic through Pinterest!
